TI and Lil Wayne Celeb Promoter Who Sold More Records From Prison: Lil Wayne or TI? Find Out

This week on the “Hip Hop Billboard Charts” was rocky for some, but great for others, even though they’re locked behind bars.

Despite TI being incarcerated in Federal Prison, his album “No Mercy” sold 158,110 copies, making it #1 on the Hip Hop Billboard charts and #4 overall.

This means TI outsold Lil Wayne in his first week. Wayne also released an album from jail called “I Am Not A Human Being” which sold 108,000 copies in its debut back in October. Lil Wayne was released from jail in November.

Yeah but TI just left. He had a chance to promote his album before he turned himself in. Weezy dropped his album 8 months after he was in. Big difference.
