Vin Diesel and Universal Pictures have confirmed it, Fast And Furious 6 is on it’s way to the Box Office. They also confirmed a seventh one, written at the same times as #6. The sixth installment had to be split into two separate films, which is why they’re working on both installments simultaneously.

“With the success of this last one ['Fast Five'], and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn’t have enough space,” says Vin Diesel, the actor that plays Dominic “Dom” Toretto in the first five films.

“We have to pay off this story, we have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages. The studio said, ‘You can’t fit all that story in one damn movie!’”

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Eva Mendes, Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will star in Fast And Furious 6, playing their signature roles as Dom, Brian, Monica, Letty and Luke.

Production for the film will begin in 2012 in Europe. “Fast and Furious 6″ is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters May 24, 2013.
