The Expendables 2 Takes Lead With Box Office High

“The Expendables 2″ climbed their way to the top of the box office this weekend knocking Universal’s “The Bourne Legacy” to number 2. Sylvester Stallone’s powerhouse movie raked in an estimated $29 million, only 6 million under the original Expendables from two years ago which brought in $35 million in it’s opening weekend.

Directed by Simon West and co-written by Stallone, the star-studded cast includes Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, Jet Li, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Liam Hemsworth, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Charisma Carpenter and Randy Couture.
