Steve Jobs asked Electronics’ CEO Trip Hawkins if he Takes LSD

Steve Jobs had a sense of humor, even when people disagreed with him about business and/or ideas. Electronic Arts’ founder Trip Hawkins remembers Steve Jobs for his charismatic approach when discussing business ethics.

Hawkins, CEO of Digital Chocolate, reminisces about an awkward moment with Steve Jobs during a recent interview with Forbes.

Trip said, “My favorite Steve antidote was one day i was just sitting in my office and he comes by and says, ‘Hey Trip you’ve never taken LSD have you.’ I said ‘no.’ And he said, ‘yeah – I thought so.’ And then he walked away.”

You may think that was a weird conversation for two CEO’s to have, but there’s more to it.

Trip continued to say, “Of course he and I understood each other well enough that he knew – that I knew what he’s basically doing is saying ‘I just came out of a meeting with somebody and they said that you disagree with me.’” LOL
