Oprah Winfrey sat down with Rihanna and her family on the island of Barbados (Ri Ri’s home town) for a rare interview with the music icon. The pop diva took Oprah on a personal tour of her old neighborhood. The conversation turned into a very emotional, vulnerable yet edgy interview.

“It’s amazing how lonely you can feel,” Rihanna told the legendary billionaire talk show host during the interview.

“I thought she was going to be kind of a bad ass, kind of a hard edged – rocker pop woman,” said Oprah. “Nothing could be farther from the truth.”

The interview with Rihanna airs Sunday, August 19th during Oprah’s Next Chapter on The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
