Elle Magazine will release a special-edition-mag April 12, 2011 in honor of a few selected musicians. Young Money femcee Nicki Minaj is featured in the mag along with Gwen Steffani, Willow Smith, etc…

“I always wanted to play with the boys,” said Nicki Minaj in the April 12th issue of Elle Magazine. “I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character, a superhero.”
