Yesterday Nicki Minaj made a “special appearance” on Good Morning America Summer Concert Series. The “special appearance” however, wasn’t her songs. It was the official debut of Nicki’s fully exposed nipple on live TV, in concert, in front of thousands of fans.
Nicki Minaj’s nip slip didn’t seem to bother her. She kept performing like nothing happened. Once Nicki noticed her fully exposed nipple she tugged at her shirt a few times but never really seemed to care.
After the incident Nicki wasn’t phased that millions of people saw her nude areola, the queen of YMCMB tweeted: “LIFE. U guys just gave me LIFE. I love u Team Minaj! Words could never do this love justice! Thank u @Gma!!!!! Honored.“
ABC Public Relations apologized for the Nicki Minaj nipple exposure and addressed the five-second TV delay problems: “Although we had a five-second delay in place for the Nicki Minaj concert on GMA, the live East Coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones… We are sorry that this occurred.”
The Parents TV Council wasn’t so care free and nonchalant; they were furious, telling TMZ: “For the umpteenth time in recent memory a morning news show has included inappropriate content for children and families… Instead of asking for forgiveness, they need to stop apologizing and implement the five second delay that so many Americans have been calling for.”
Nicki, there was about 50 million people waiting for that to happen. I think the world is a much better place now.
