The most talked about female in hip hop, Nicki Minaj, never backs down from competition and controversy as her “Starships” single officially went platinum this week, selling approximately 170,000 copies. When it was first released everybody ‘supposedly’ hated the song, but the record is on it’s way to becoming Nicki’s most successful record.
Does the recent success of “Starships” mean Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded will be a huge success? Probably so, because the more critics hate on Nicki Minaj the further her music goes.
