Mitt Romney Faces Tough Questions From Hispanic Community
Republican candidate Mitt Romney faced some tough questions last night from the Hispanic community on Univision. Romney needs support from minority leaders but unanswered Forum questions about immigration and same-sex marriage left potential voters empty.
When asked about illegals brought into this country by their parents when they were kids Romney avoided a specific answer saying; “for those that are already here and that are undocumented that were brought in here (United States) by their parents and therefore are illegal aliens in this country – my view is that we should put in place a permanent solution.”
When asked about same-sex marriage Romney said, “Individuals should be able to pursue a relationship based on love and respect and raise a family they would choose.” The republican candidate went on to say he would preserve the term marriage as a bond between a man and a woman.
