Lindsay Lohan Cast as Elizabeth Taylor in new film Liz and Dick
Troubled by tabloid rumors and probation violations, Lindsay Lohan had to find a way back to her first leading role since 2009. After several years of controversy Lohan managed to focus, casting as Elizabeth Taylor in Liz and Dick, a new film about Elizabeth’s rocky relationship with Richard Burton.
In a recent statement Lohan expressed her respect for Liz, “I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role.”
The Lifetime TV movie will be written by Christopher Monger.
