Posted on January 23, 2011 By celebpromoter Media
Jersey Shore broke their own record two weeks in row. The popular MTV show is in their 3rd season and it’s not slowing down.
On January 13, 2011 they had 8.6 million viewers, which was an MTV record and one of the most watched TV shows on that day.
According to tvbythenumbers: On Thursday, January 20, 2011, Jersey Shore broke an MTV record again – and became the most watched series telecast in MTV history. The show had a total 8.9 million viewers, 300,000 more viewers than the week before. It scored a 4.7 adults 18-49 rating, topping everything on broadcast Thursday except American Idol.
Wow, a reality show competing with American Idol. The last time I checked, only the Super Bowl did that.
