Hollywood Walk Of Fame Says Reality Stars Not Qualified For Consideration
E! Network reality star Kim Kardashian expressed a desire to be on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a recent interview with V Magazine. Unfortunately, the chances of fulfilling that dream will be slim-to-none unless Kim starts racking up awards FAST!
A representative for The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce responded to Kim but it’s not the response she wanted to hear. “Part of the criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmy’s, SAG Awards, Oscars etc. in the category of Television, Live Stage Performance or Motion Pictures,” said the rep. “They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.”
Kardashian did gain ‘some’ acting credits in Drop Dead Diva (TV- 3 episodes), Beyond The Break (TV – 4 episodes) and Tyler Perry’s The Marriage Counselor (film – scheduled for 2013 release). But without notable awards acting credits fall short according to Chamber of Commerce criteria.
