Fake Talent Agents Run Off With Over 35,000 In Cash Over False Nicki Minaj Concert
The Young Money Camp is at it again with the fake promoters of the world. A college in Montclair New Jersey was just scammed for $35,000 in deposits for a falsified Nicki Minaj booking. The fake promoter made the booking seem so real that students were actually purchasing $40 tickets to attend the false show. Montclair State allegedly paid the fake promoter over $35,000 before the promoter disappeared and ran off with the loot.
Nicki Minaj took to her twitter to respond to the situations:
“What is this i’m hearing about a MSU concert? where and when is this concert supposed to be? i feel so bad 4 ppl who were scammed. I’m not doing any shows between now and the 22nd of October. When shows r confirmed i’ll let u guys know. I’m sorry. When i find out the person responsible for this MSU scam i’m putting their name on twitter. scamming college kids? go to hell!”
The name of the fake concert promoters were not named, investigators are still searching for clues to resolve the issue.
Nicki Minaj has a show coming up on October 30 in Trinida&Tobago.
