Breaking News: Mariah Carey Just Went Through Labor And Had The Twins
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon can finally breathe a sigh of relief, as Mariah successfully delivered twin babies: a baby boy and a baby girl.
Mariah gave birth to the twins at 12 PM EST today, just a few hours ago, April 30, 2011… in Los Angeles California.
The baby girl was the first born, weighing in at 5lbs 3oz, 18 inches long… The baby boy weighed in at 5lbs 6oz, 19inches long.
According to Mariah’s Publicist Cindi Berger and the Associated Press: “Nick drove Mariah to the hospital after she experience sharp contractions. Mariah thought it was a false alarm, but just to make sure Nick decided to drive his wife to the hospital. On the way Mariah’s water broke and it became the real deal. When Nick arrived at the hospital he was so nervous he took his wife to the wrong department. A nurse intervened and guided the couple to the maternity ward… The delivery was a huge success and the family is doing great. Mother, Father and Twins were all listening to Mariah’s hit single “We Belong Together” moments after the kids were born, it was a very intimate moment.”
The names of the newborn twins have not yet been released.
Mariah Carey (41) and Nick Cannon (30) got married 4 years ago, in 2007. The couple scheduled a small ceremony tomorrow (Sunday May 1, 2011) to renew their wedding vows for their 4th anniversary.
