Two of the most powerful women in the Entertainment Business, Shaunie O’Neal and Tracey Edmonds, partnered to bring the world Basketball Wives The Movie.
Acquired by Fox Searchlight, “Jumping the Broom” co-writer Elizabeth Hunter will draw-up the script. Shingle’s Glendon Palmer and Phil Robinson signed as executive producers of the yet untitled Basketball Wives movie.
According to the Chicago Tribune, “the project centers around a young woman who follows her boyfriend to Miami after he gets drafted into the NBA. Thrust into the world of professional sports, she meets and learns from the sisterhood of players’ wives and learns from their trials and tribulations.”
