Apple Inc announced their iPhone 4S has topped 1 million pre-order sales in 24 hours. The previous record was 600,000 for the iPhone 4. This comes as know surprise due to the passing of Apple founder Steve Jobs.
Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing, said; “We are blown away with the incredible customer response to iPhone 4S. The first day pre-orders for iPhone 4S have been the most for any new product that Apple has ever launched and we are thrilled that customers love iPhone 4S as much as we do.”
The iPhone 4S is Apple’s newest smartphone, developed with the latest technologies needed to operate your life on-the-go. New features include Apple’s dual-core A5 chip, delivering even more power. The 8MP camera with all-new optics also shoots 1080p HD video — and with Siri, iPhone 4S does what you ask.
Even though Steve Jobs is know longer with us, the innovative foundation he created continues to break records worldwide.
